A Sunday Well-Spent

Yesterday I was in a strange mood, it was as if my whole body was mourning the carefree summer days and getting ready for a new phase- call it autumn, call it work, or just routine. Whatever you choose to name it, I felt a big sense of loss and very little pleasure in anticipating what would come. To cheer myself up and because I had invited friends over for coffee, I decided to make some ciabatta to go with my wonderful home made apple jam. Mornings like these, when you wake up rested and wonder what time it is, then lie awake in bed and find the pain is gone. The weather in Norway is amazing, but most of my friends are away and so I find myself too lazy to do anything. Thank God I have Sam, or else I´d be lounging on the couch all day long. Today we´re going to the beach, though, and I put together some outfits and accessories that I crave this summer.

Lazy days in Oslo

Hi! I´m back before you had the chance to miss me! 😉 The days are sunny and long and I “pray” that nobody needs my services, so I can just lounge around all day long. I´m still going through the motions, there´s lots of things I don’t have the energy to get sorted yet, but I´m doing much better, opening letters, sweeping the floors and preparing dinner without the feeling that the world will come crushing down on me.

Summer time

“Summer time and the living is easy

Fish are jumping and the cotton is high

Your daddy´s rich and you ma is good-looking
