This summer I only want a couple of new dresses, I´d say light and soft and airy, but then I remembered I live in Scandinavia! So this one would be pretty rad!

BO BEDRE writes about EAM!
The long-awaited moment is finally here: Bo bedre, one of Norway´s biggest interior magazines suggests EAM´s products in their Christmas issue! We´re hoping this will be the break-through we´ve hoped for all this time! Take a look and pick your choice! My husband makes the slickest handcrafted leather accessories you´ve seen in ages!
Pretty things I fancy
Fall is here and I´m getting cosy in our apartment again, digging up the wool blankets, lighting candles and making soup. I´m starting dinner early these days, a glass of red wine in my hand, and let the flavours work their magic as long as they need to- soups, curries and baked veggies all the way. Yesterday I even made some apple jam from fallen apples in the neighbourhood, I´ll be sure to post the recipe in a couple of days´ time.
Since most time is spent indoors nowadays, I feel the need to renew this and that while I dream about exotic holidays and good books. So I made a short list of the most beautiful things I´ve seen in stores lately!
Wish list for a neat home
When it comes to a more zen type of house, we´re making progress! We hardly bought anything this year, in fact we only dragged a retro tricycle in, replaced the couch (with a retro/used one), purchased a String shelf (like the one in image 2) and a shoe shelf from Normann Copenhagen. Oh, and won a 220€ voucher at Lafactory, a cool Danish furniture shop, where we chose this chair and this chair. Haha! Doesn´t sound like nothing, hm? But for us it is! We´re usually hopeless when it comes to over-stuffing our home!
But we´re getting there! We only need a couple of more storage elements and 30-40 m2 more! 😉 Here are my most wanted things:

Filippa K
I don´t know about you, but Filippa K is my favourite Scandinavian brand. In my mind, their light, simple and a bit androgyn line embodies the very Scandinavian elegance. Wearing their clothes I´m seldom overdressed (my cardinal sin otherwise), I can move without restrictions and I feel drop dead gorgeous. This year I´ve cut down on my shopping drastically, but I´m thinking of splurging a tiny bit as soon as the sales are here! 😉 (needless to say I´d love their entire collection!)
Atelier Asian Tapas
Our friends have visitors from the big abroad, so we thought it´d be nice to go out for a meal and get to know their sister/sister in law. We´re huge fans of Mathallen (The Food Court) and it´s quite central, too, but for some reason we keep forgetting to go there lately. And since we´re trying to show Oslo from its best side, we booked a table at Atelier Asian Tapas, where they serve delicate Asian influenced dishes. With the same owners as Xich-Lo, a fantastic French-Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Oslo, one cannot expect anything less than exquisite taste and relaxed service. Atelier has high aspirations of becoming a regular meeting place and they have weekly events promoting Vietnamese food with a twist. It´s also the place you go to for a yummy lunch and a glass of Prosecco, especially on a Saturday afternoon.
The perfect apartment
Oh, my God! I looooove this apartment! I could move in tomorrow! Large, spacious rooms, carefully chosen details, a retro atmosphere and functional architecture. Not to mention the light. I´m in heaven!
Modern Tribute
If you’re into mid-century design, this is the place to go in Oslo! They have so many lovely lamps, amazing ceramic pieces, not to mention the furniture! We end up buying something every time we´re there. Oops!
Colorful apartment in Oslo
I still like looking for cool apartments from time to time and on the days I´m truly miserable, there´s nothing like a colorful space to cheer me up. Let´s face it- this winter has been too long and too grey and I´m oh so fed up with it! But back to cheerful places, take a look at this ingenuous apartment for sale in Oslo! I love the light and spacious rooms, the touch of bright colors here and there, as well as the hardwood floors. Hope you see what I mean.
Swedish pearl
For me, the most beautiful interiors have always been the creative ones- large rooms, scarcely furnished, with an eclectic style and a steady hand. They need to have lots of light, some French boudoir chic and mid-century Scandinavian pieces. They should exude individuality and shouldn´t be too matchy. Marie Olsson Nylander and her husband William have got it just right. Their house by the sea is a perfect retreat, take a look!
