Christmas gifts for her

The jolly season is around the corner and I´ve put together a couple of gift ideas for the ladies. For my part, I can´t wait! I don´t think it´ll be a very generous Santa, but I´m sure I´ll get a couple of scented candles and perhaps a new sweater, in fact, I´m gonna make sure of that! 😉

A couple of words mid-week

How are you all doing? My week has been crazy busy, but hectic is good, so I´m not yet complaining. I just felt like emptying a bottle of Prosecco on my own today, so when a friend asked if I wanted to join her for Unplugged at The Thief, I immediately said yes for fear of turning into Sue Ellen a couple of decades too soon. 😉

I´m looking forward to the weekend, we´re hosting a flea market on Saturday, hoping to get rid of a few things and use the opportunity to get together over coffee and waffles. 😉 So if you´re in Oslo, do stop by! In the evening we´re invited to a Halloween party and agonising about our disguise as usually. Bought some pumpkin, though, might just surprise the host with an all American pumpkin pie if I get the time. 😉

SEEK advice

I promised you I´ll write a little about the contemporary fashion show we attended in Berlin- SEEK, as well as how to have a successful fair. 😉 This was my first fair as an exhibitor (assistant) and my second one as a visitor, so I can´t boast of much insight, but you tend to pick up a thing or two along the way. 😉

Holiday

We´re heading to Berlin next Monday to participate at EAM´s first trade show- SEEK and we´re so excited! 😉 This is our sole summer holiday (at least we don´t have any other plans for now), so it’d better be good! 😉 Already dreaming of getting rich and moving to a warm country, where we´d be living in a big mansion, with a beach line and a pool! haha! 😉

First and foremost it´ll be hard work. We´ll be setting up stuff and decorating on Tuesday and the show itself starts on Wednesday and lasts for 3 days. Luckily, our stand is by the coffee shop, so we´ll be able to stay hydrated the whole time. 😉 haha! No Prosecco for this cutie, last time I attended a trade show in Paris (as a visitor), I got a major head-ache just from walking around with so much people around me. Haha!

Sunday mornings

Sunday mornings are holy. I seldom work during the weekends, but on the few occasions I do, like today, I make sure we have some quality time afterwards. So I was reunited with my man and Sammy at around 13:30 and after some jumping and smooches from Sam´s part, the three of us went to our neighborhood café to sit in the sun and sip some coffee. I had only eaten some blueberries by then, so I was hungry as a wolf. Soon after, Ryan, our neighbor, appeared with Emi, Sam´s girlfriend and we talked for a couple of minutes. We had bought a small beanie for their newborn girl and so we were happy to see them. Besides being boyfriend girlfriend, Sam and Emi are best friends and they show lots of affection in public. 😉 They play, kiss and lick each other non-stop. 😉 Just look at how cute they are together!

Essential Articles in the Making

My man has finally launched his web store and I´m so proud of him, I can´t even begin to tell you! He´s been working as an accesoires designer for 3 years now and it´s a tough market in Norway. Artisan work is just starting to be appreciated here and the high cost of labor implies high prices, too. He mainly works with leather and everything he makes in hand sewn. Take a look and support a local business!
