I promised you a couple of pics with my freshly painted apartment. I’ve tried to style it a bit, mostly with new plants, since I love my stuff and I find it hard to part with it for a lighter image. 😉

Perfect Tuesday
I’ve had a perfect day, just perfect. Managed to do a little bit around the house, worked some, walked Sammy and now I’ve found the perfect cookie recipe that I’m dying to try.
Listening to Lenisha Nelson- I’m Good and soaking up the cosy atmosphere of my apartment that I’ve the chance to miss when the Airbnb guests were staying here. I definitely need some more light. And some more candles. And I’m so painting the bedroom in November! Limestone paint is the trick for a dark, luscious bedroom.
On fall and life
This week has been crazy busy, I´ve been working like mad, travelled to Molde and back, which ruined me for a couple of days, shone the house for an airbnb guest, bought some flowers and a much-needed pair of jeans from Filipa K. Continue reading
Come stay with me at my Airbnb
Hi, peeps! What are you up to? I’m done painting, throwing stuff away and organising, now I’m ready for guests! 😉
This is my humble home, come stay with me and let me show you around (and bake you cookies). Continue reading
Small Changes
Big changes are followed by small changes. I cling to the past, to things being the way they always were, but there are no cat steps anywhere to be heard and the week I don´t have Sam the apartment is full of silence. A strange silence, a silence I don´t know what to make of. Continue reading
Halloween and Flea Market Saturday
We had a great day yesterday serving waffles and coffee to friends and their children, playing spooky with Sam and his little disciples, as well as looking for Beo (the cat), who´d gone into hiding from all that clamour. We sold quite a few things and are holding our breath hoping that more people will knock on our day today, too. 😉

La Factory Provence
A couple of months ago I was the lucky winner of a 2000 DKK voucher from La Factory Provence through a giveaway hosted by my fellow blogger from Denmark, Nanna. I couldn´t believe it when I saw the mail, I hardly ever win anything and besides this was a Danish store, so I immediately thought about the cost of transport, customs and so on. It´s an online store that focuses on industrial and vintage furniture, right up our alley! I sat down with V one evening and we picked what appealed to us most (and what we have most of in this house, too!)- chairs! Surprised? haha! 😉
Marianne was wonderful, she helped me with the shipping, answered all my questions and yesterday I got the second chair, too! Somehow they´d been separated on their way and I didn´t receive them together. So happy with them! Take a look!
Wish list for a neat home
When it comes to a more zen type of house, we´re making progress! We hardly bought anything this year, in fact we only dragged a retro tricycle in, replaced the couch (with a retro/used one), purchased a String shelf (like the one in image 2) and a shoe shelf from Normann Copenhagen. Oh, and won a 220€ voucher at Lafactory, a cool Danish furniture shop, where we chose this chair and this chair. Haha! Doesn´t sound like nothing, hm? But for us it is! We´re usually hopeless when it comes to over-stuffing our home!
But we´re getting there! We only need a couple of more storage elements and 30-40 m2 more! 😉 Here are my most wanted things:

Fiddling about
I was out of town for 3 days for work and I can´t even begin to tell you how good it is to be home again! Hotel life is smooth enough if you have someone to share it with, but when you have to eat alone two days in a row and watch silly series on TV because you decided to be “generous” with your significant other and leave the Mac at home, not so much… 😉
On my way home I got to pick some wild flowers and they light up the whole house! 😉 I also might have bought a pair of high heels sandals, although the budget didn´t allow it. 😉 Oops!
Sweet freelance life
Second Easter day was spent “en famille”. My father came from Romania yesterday and we had a nice breakfast with lots of lovely coffee and cozonac, our traditional holiday cake. I was lucky not to have anything on my agenda and had sort of decided not to work, but when nobody required my services, I was even happier I didn´t have to turn anybody down.
It was a fresh and sunny day and I had a long walk with Sam. I let him run free and chase the geese by the lake, then we went all the way to the marina to enjoy the view. Later on I had coffee with a friend and her 2 months daughter, in our neighborhood coffeeshop. 😉 On my way home again I picked up some fresh tulips and a bottle of wine. V is making shrimps with leeks in a tomato sauce, served with white rice for dinner, then we´re out to have a beer with a friend of ours.
