Today was a really crappy day. It started with the dentist pulling one of my front teeth, so that the others can fit my mouth. Really gross and painful stuff. And besides I look like someone punched me in the face. On top of that, I have a terrible cold and when I’m not sneezing, I’m blowing my nose. And as if that wasn’t enough, I’ve lots of printing and stapling to do since taxes are around the corner and I haven’t given it a thought until now.
This May is funny, we had a whole week of sunshine and now it’s back to grey and freezing days. But we’re hanging on, spring is here although we’re still wearing scarves, just look at the trees!
A new chapter in my life begins in a month or so, when I’m moving in with my boyfriend (formally), after selling my apartment. Our plans are to drink rosé on the terrace the whole summer and find a new place together in the fall. I’ve loved living here so much! Take a look! ❤ Continue reading

Taken a plunge into reality yet? 😉 My week started with a pang on Tuesday, but I did get a couple of hours here and there to give my apartment the love it needs in order to be sold on the first home inspection. So now that I’m done with the bedroom and living-room, almost done with the kitchen floor, I only need to wash the whole place spotless (which my cleaning lady will do) and style it, so it’s ready for the photographer and soon for the hoards. haha! I know I may lack a little in modesty, but hey, I can’t help it, I simply believe I have a better sense of style than “the girl next door”! 😉
Hi, peeps! What are you up to? I’m done painting, throwing stuff away and organising, now I’m ready for guests! 😉
This is my humble home, come stay with me and let me show you around (and bake you cookies). Continue reading
Big changes are followed by small changes. I cling to the past, to things being the way they always were, but there are no cat steps anywhere to be heard and the week I don´t have Sam the apartment is full of silence. A strange silence, a silence I don´t know what to make of. Continue reading
