This was my last getaway in a long time now. 😉 Too much running around and too little work done lately. The laundry keeps piling up, haven´t touched a book in a month and I´m behind with billing, too. Not to mention accountancy. Uæææææ!
Enough about that, though. London was great, as always. I was there in December last year, but before that I hadn´t been in the UK in 6 years and I realised I´d really missed it. Nature was in full bloom, although it was cold as f*, the food was yummy and my friends were great, as always. 😉
The best thing about Sundays is waking up late, drinking coffee in bed and doing something together as a family. We usually pick a route and buy some potato nan from our local Indian place (Punjab) and then walk to a coffee place. We´ve been talking a lot about following the river Aker upstreams, back in the day it used to be quite shabby, but now they´ve cleaned it up really nicely and we didn´t meet any drug addicts or dealers in our way. Sunday mornings are holy. I seldom work during the weekends, but on the few occasions I do, like today, I make sure we have some quality time afterwards. So I was reunited with my man and Sammy at around 13:30 and after some jumping and smooches from Sam´s part, the three of us went to our neighborhood café to sit in the sun and sip some coffee. I had only eaten some blueberries by then, so I was hungry as a wolf. Soon after, Ryan, our neighbor, appeared with Emi, Sam´s girlfriend and we talked for a couple of minutes. We had bought a small beanie for their newborn girl and so we were happy to see them. Besides being boyfriend girlfriend, Sam and Emi are best friends and they show lots of affection in public. 😉 They play, kiss and lick each other non-stop. 😉 Just look at how cute they are together!
