Ever since I set my foot in Rhodes, in 2006, I instantly fell in love with the Mediterranean way of life. Although you may think a southern French town like Montpellier has little in common with a sleepy Greek island, I beg to differ. It’s the way of enjoying life, in small portions, be it on the beach, at the local coffee shop or taverna, in one’s own garden or in the streets. I simply love Southern Europe and think I was born to live in one of its countries. How I ended up in Norway is a mystery to me and how I never seem to be able to do anything about it makes me really sad. But what can I do? Move to Greece and turn into a street vendor? No, thanks. I’d rather have a real job and live for the holidays, as sad as that might sound.

Almost there
Hi, peeps, what have you been up to lately? 😉 This week I rented my apartment to a Marketing School and they’ve been filming something so loud that my neighbours were asking if I had a Swingers party in there. Haha! Can you even imagine?
So we’re staying at F’s and we have a balcony! Yesterday we even got half an hour of sunshine on our faces while sipping some beer. Sam is mostly outside, he even stayed on the flower bed while it was snowing, I don’t know why I’m even surprised, he’s a regular polar dog! 😉 Continue reading
All the Pretty Things
It´s a rainy Sunday morning and it´s good to be tucked away from the world and just dream of pretty things, instead of paying bills, sending invoices and worrying about my finances, like I should. 😉 Sounds familiar? Continue reading
Wishing for summer
Now that spring is here (at last!), I find myself dreaming of summer more and more. In fact, it´s just a couple of months away! Summer for me will always be bare toes, white houses by the sea, lazy mornings in bed, garden parties, cocktails, flowers and beach babes. What´s your idea of a perfect summer? This is mine!
1. Bougainvillea in Greece, matching the door, how cute is that? Continue reading
Sugarcoat
Sugarcoat it, baby, won´t you?
Let your words fall down on my hopes
Like December snow
On my sleepy lashes.
Come to me sooner
And stay with me longer
Like a morning dream
Lingering when the alarm clock sets off.

Fall fashion
I´m still on a self-imposed shopping ban, but that doesn´t stop me from making wish lists as I used to do back when I was 16! My style is pretty classic, I try investing in key pieces, so I don´t need new stuff all the time, but I still feel the need to “reinvent” myself from time to time. This is what caught my eye lately:
- Max Mara camel coat
- Joseph- Charlie wool and cashmere-blend skirt
- 3. Iris and Ink- Thea cotton boyfriend shirt
4. Raoul- Chunky-knit cardigan5. Jil Sander- Leather-trimmed suede boots
What do you think?

Mykonos
No, I´m not in Mykonos right now, although I wish I were. It´s my number one destination for the time being. 😉 I want to lounge on a sun bed, say good-bye to bills and stress and just be. Eat Greek salad and drink some fizzy white wine while reading a good book or improving my instagram account. 😉
I´ve always known it was a very beautiful island, but the party vibe kind of scared me off. But now I´m ready to kick back and just not care if there´s a party somewhere, as long as I get my fair share of peace of mind. 😉
Marrakech riads
From where I´m sitting now- on my living room couch, wrapped up in a woolen blanket- the idea of some warm days of pampering and good food is more alluring than ever. I´ve never been to Marrakech, but it´s always been on my list. With all these traveling plans and a wallet not big enough to put up with them, it might be a while until we get there. But hey, dreaming is free of charge! 😉
For the femme fatale
Wish I weren´t on a self imposed and oh so necessary shopping ban.. Meanwhile I´m dreaming of Hérvé Légère´s dress paired with those fab Miu Miu shoes and the Balenciaga leather bracelet. Sigh.. Continue reading
A bit of inspiration
We´re getting a new couch today and the living room looks like an empty battlefield now. I used to work with autistic people years ago and I must be a bit like them ´cause whenever things out of place I get into a bad mood. So before working out the courage to take Sam for a walk and then start on today´s fish soup, I let myself dream a bit on Pinterest.
1. Winter stew. I can almost smell it! 😉
