I finally got around to writing this entry on donuts, I’m behind with everything and I’d nap all day if I could, just like a cat. Spring teased us a couple of days last week, but since then it’s been snowing a bit and now it’s just soggy and foggy- yikes! From my living-room window I can see the pine tree tops in the distance and the snow melting on the balcony- remind me to go outside and hang Sam’s mouse on a hook to dry, or else it’ll be moldy by Monday!

Gingerbread aka pepperkaker
Happy New Year! 😉 I hope you had a better New Year’s Eve than we did, the fireworks terrified our poor Sammy and we spent most of the evening hiding away from the noise in the bathroom. This being said, I’m sensing that 2019 has great potential and I’m going to make the best of it! ❤ Continue reading
Chocolate mousse
This must be the easiest recipe EVER! And for my part, it´s also the best! ❤ (mostly because I can actually make it, instead of just dreaming about it)
Fall at Artichoke
Artichoke has been my favourite coffeeshop in Bucharest for a couple of years now. I love its Berlin-like atmosphere, its tasty coffee, its young staff and their generous approach to fucking up- a couple of sodas on the house go a long way in my book! 😉
Apple galette
So I made this amazing galette last week, but it didn’t turn out as pretty as today, which is why I had to wait to share the recipe with you. I found it here and I only dropped the salt caramel, although I had more than a week to find the time to make it, but either I didn’t have enough butter, a clean pan or the disposition for it, ’cause it never materialized.
Black Quinoa Salad with Nectarines
How have you been, my lovelies? I’m doing great, I get so much energy from my “newly discovered” hobby (photography and styling), it’s amazing! 😉 Every other day I try to make something yum in the kitchen and as long as there’s still light outside, I rush out with a plate and snap a photo. I don’t find it exhausting as cooking relaxes me and I need a good meal to wrap up the day anyways.
Butternut squash soup
I bought this baby on Saturday and yesterday we had some of it roasted in small pieces together with potatoes. We served with baked salmon and it was yummy! And since there was plenty left, I thought I should try to make a soup out of it. A search on the mighty internet lead me to this recipe. Continue reading
Pizza buns
Grey, drizzly weather, drinking coffee and writing invoices when I suddenly feel the urge to bake. And since lunch hour was approaching, what better than pizza buns? Continue reading
Vegetarian Lasagne
Here´s the recipe for the most delicious vegetarian lasagne I´ve ever made, as promised! I assembled it on Monday afternoon and had leftovers for lunch both yesterday and today. Simply yummy! Continue reading
Classic apple chutney
What to do with so many apples? 😉 I was growing tired of making apple jam, so I remembered the lovely apple chutney I made some years ago. 😉 I hope you feel like trying! Continue reading
