Vintage Jewelry I want
I’m not very good at wearing jewellery, from time to time I have periods when I crave it and then long time lapses before I can be bothered again. But I’m like a magpie, I love to collect everything shiny and glitzy, to soothe my eyes on them. As I wrote a couple of days ago, I’ve just discovered a shop with lots of cool vintage stuff and a clean profile-VAAR, meaning spring in Norwegian. And I simply adore their jewellery!

Spring wardrobe
There hasn´t been much sign of spring in Oslo yet, but yesterday I could smell it for the first time, through my bedroom window, as I´m lying in bed down with a cold.
Spring always gets me in the mood for a change and since change is all I´ve been through lately, now I´ll concentrate on the harmless changes, like a seasonal wardrobe and the likes.

New Year´s Eve
I´ve been good for some days now, keeping busy with work, friends and Sam, going to the movies- 3 films in one week!- and so on. But with New Year lurking around the corner, I hit rock bottom all over again.
I remember a couple of bad New Year´s Eves way back, when I was young, like buying a dress (cause that´s what I used to do every year) and then not knowing where I´d wear it. haha! But I always ended up getting invited to some gig, so I got to wear my dress. You don´t get to laugh at that, I´m dead serious when it comes to dresses! 😉 haha!
Christmas Party with the Office
I don´t have an office (Thank God for that!), but I do have interpreter colleagues and we´re holding our Christmas party in January. Can´t wait, I just need to survive the holiday “cheer” first. I used to love Christmas, now I feel like the Grinch. 😉
And as you know, I love dressing up, in fact I never let a chance pass me by, which means I find myself overdressed all the time. 😉 Sometimes, people come over to compliment me and they often catch me off guard. Everybody wants to be a diva, but not all the time, right? 😉
Fall fashion
I´m still on a self-imposed shopping ban, but that doesn´t stop me from making wish lists as I used to do back when I was 16! My style is pretty classic, I try investing in key pieces, so I don´t need new stuff all the time, but I still feel the need to “reinvent” myself from time to time. This is what caught my eye lately:

Pretty things I fancy
Fall is here and I´m getting cosy in our apartment again, digging up the wool blankets, lighting candles and making soup. I´m starting dinner early these days, a glass of red wine in my hand, and let the flavours work their magic as long as they need to- soups, curries and baked veggies all the way. Yesterday I even made some apple jam from fallen apples in the neighbourhood, I´ll be sure to post the recipe in a couple of days´ time.
Since most time is spent indoors nowadays, I feel the need to renew this and that while I dream about exotic holidays and good books. So I made a short list of the most beautiful things I´ve seen in stores lately!

I just discovered Gridy design from Norway and I´m loving them already! They´ve designed for both Menu and Northern Lighting. Here are some of their fab contributions to the designer world. The mirror is on my wish list already.
Wish list for spring
I feel spring coming, already fed up with winter and wool sweaters and what better thing to do for welcoming a change of seasons than buying fresh flowers and putting together a wish-list?;-)
For the pretty season I wish for an Isabel Marant coat, pinkish Salvatore Ferragamo ballerinas, Burberry Brit t-shirt, Dolce et Gabanna diva shades and, last but not least, a silk dress and leather bag from Chloe.
