I love Mediterranean lifestyle, but this year was so hot I thought I’d melt right there on the sidewalk like an ice cube. I had trouble sleeping at night and I found it hard to find the motivation to do anything after midday. Had I been traveling solo, you would have found me in the shade, eating olives and drinking rosé or sitting on the beach under an umbrella with a cocktail all day long. 😉 But I thank the stars my love is less affected by the heat than I am and generally a much more reasonable person altogether. 😉 Haha! And even though we had our share of self indulging, we also found the time and energy to travel around a bit.

Sunny Day in Bergen
I’m not done with Bergen and Bergen is not done with me. In fact, I’ll be there for a whole week at the end of June with my good friend Adriana and I can’t wait! 😉 Another human trafficking case, but after hours, this baby is going to do some world class eating and shopping. 😉 haha!
Kardamyli, Greece
Long time, no see. Missed me? Last time I checked in, I was overworked and pretty much fed up, now however I´m back with new forces from a week´s holiday in lovely Kardamyli, Greece. A week of sunbathing, swimming in the sea, devouring delicious sea food, enjoying a glass of rosé in the shade of a fig tree or under a vine roof, counting mosquito bites and doing a bit of reading, too. 😉
Copenhagen October 2015
Weee, we´re going to Copenhagen again this fall! In just 2 weeks´ time we´ll be strolling down its quaint alleys and go for an amazing smørrebrød in one of its pretty cafés. We´re celebrating a friend of ours´ 50th birthday on Saturday and otherwise we´re thinking of just going with the flow, no shopping budget this time, so we might as well follow Nana Hagel´s recommendations from her interview with Ignant. In case you haven´t heard of her (although she´s quite famous!), she´s a travel and food enthusiast and writes for several magazines. 😉 Continue reading
A Sunday in Oslo
Today was such a bright and beautiful day it would have been a shame to spend it anywhere else than outside. Although we´re heading towards the end of February, the weather is still quite crisp and we had to go back for gloves, to put it like that. 😉 We live in the Eastern part of Oslo, the multicultural “old town” and love it! It´s such a nice and friendly place, a brisk 10 minutes walk from the city center and only a stone throw away from Grønland and all its colorful (and extremely cheap) eateries. 😉 So we walked to Punjab, as I mentioned in my earlier post, but couldn´t settle for a potato nan, so we had the whole shebang- Chicken Karhai. Oh, yum! If you´re ever in Oslo, it´s a must!
