>Yesterday was one of those horror days, I worked for 14 h. I left home in the morning and came back at night. Nauseous from the train ride, hungry and beat. But as soon as I opened the door, my three favourite persons in the whole world were overwhelmed to see me: Sam jumped me and kissed my cheeks, Beo miawed in his familiar way and rubbed himself by my legs and Vuong told me there was hot Vietnamese soup in the kitchen. I mean, what more can you want from life?! Am I not the world´s luckiest gal?!

Vuong´s Vietnamese soup has been a family secret for 10 years, but I decided the world shouldn´t miss on such a treat.;-) Perfect to alleviate fatigue, conjugal crisis and cold feet, this soup works wonders on a regular Tuesday night.
3-4 garlic cloves
1 cauliflower
1l water
1/2 bag of shrimps, rinsed
cilantro
pepper
1-2 chili
2-3 spoons of fish sauce
1 tea spoon of sesami oil
Stir the garlic in oil. Add shrimps and sear for a minute. Add the cauliflower and water. Season with pepper and chili, fish sauce and sesami oil. Let it boil a minute, then serve with sprinkled cilantro and a bowl of rice on the side. Bon appetite!
