London, you were such a treat! I feel refreshed and kind of back on track again. I even managed to sleep without neither wine nor a sleeping pill! 😉
In addition to never packing what I need, this time I forgot both my toothbrush, my antidepressants and my comb! Haha! And the only pair of boots I took with me were slightly high-heeled, but hey, I was a big city girl for a weekend! 😉
Didn´t do that much, had a nice walk in Richmond with Lavinia, bought a couple of nice things for myself and my niece, had mulled wine, ate out in West Hampstead and gossiped to our hearts´content.
The pubs are so nicely decorated and they get you in an instant jolly mood. And the mulled wine helps drive the dark thoughts away! 😉
Pretzels, oh so good!
My dear Camelia was good, too, I forgot to take the camera with me and capture her spirit when we met. She was as radiant as when we first met, at 19. Some people don´t fade with age. 😉
Yesterday I spent the day in the Balham/Clapham area, so charming! We had coffee in this cute little place called Milk, apparently the next big thing. 😉
Breakfast was English muffin and crumpets, I needed a translation in order to know what to order, so many new words and ingredients.
Winter nature is absolutely amazing.
And a second spring was in the air.
Poor cutie, waiting for his owner.
Antique shops, I wanted the dogs so bad, but couldn´t fit them in my luggage. Seems I might need to go back and fetch them later on.
So long, London! I´ll be back!
