Industrial Loft in Barcelona

Resembling a New York apartment, this loft is a rare find in Barcelona with its 170 m2 areal, its incredible light and all the original details. I love the feeling such a huge space gives one when scarcely furnished, how the interior is kept simple without turning boring, not to speak of all the glimpses of color and playfulness. I´ve always appreciated open solutions, but I don´t know if it´s so easy to receive guest when you don´t have a bedroom door? What do you think?

  1. Very nice! Thank you for sharing this! The overall look and feel is just fantastic. But there are so many individual elements I like in there too! The curvy wooden chairs, the black-and-white lamp stands and the bedside table. What I liked the most, though, is the multi-layered seating next to the center table. Any idea where it’s from? I just found it very interesting as it looks like layers of mini mattresses put together. But yea, I agree with you on open bathrooms. I’m okay with open anything except bathrooms. Guest or no guest, I definitely wouldn’t enjoy the sights, smells or sounds coming out of there!

    1. Yikes! Just realized that you were talking about door-less bedrooms, and not bathrooms! 😀 well i guess that’s okay for a typical bachelor pad, not if you have guests over frequently or have kids around
