For the last couple of weeks I’ve been taking my camera with me everywhere and the result is just amazing- I cannot remember when we had such a pretty fall last! ❤Sammy’s been enjoying himself in the rusty foliage, wading in the water, running around with other dogs (strictly spayed males, puppies or females), playing with F’s niece and nephew, dragging my friend Gordana’s girls after him or posing for his mom’s photographic endeavors. 😉
I’ve had a translation exam and I was out of town for a week, but now I’m back to my “chill” life in the capital and all I feel like doing is walking the dog, taking pictures, baking bread and making babies. Watch out for that! 😉
The woods are so appealing, day and night, sometimes they move me to tears, and no, it’s not the medication, it’s just my sensitive soul! 😉 haha!
Being a busy bee has left me with little time for my hobbies and writing has suffered the most. It hasn’t come easy lately, but I’ve been thinking of all the things I’ve lived through and I’d like to try my hand at writing an episodic novel, comprising several short stories linked by the same characters. And I’d love to go back to reading a bit, I haven’t been able to find the piece of mind for that. 😦We’re booking tickets for Budapest for late November or the beginning of December and I can’t wait to travel a bit again, although I’ve been away for work, it’s not the same as changing the scenery entirely and taking a break from routine.
The weather has been glorious for the past weeks, dry and sunny, just the way I like it. I’ve been wearing the Max Mara coat I got in Bucharest every day and reminiscing over uni days when I would walk past their store and drool, like Oliver Twist in front of a candy store.
I’m giving Sam back to his father today and looking forward for a week of laziness in the evening, knowing I can lounge in my “jammies” without having to freeze my butt off during our night walk before bed.
I’ll be back one of these days with a new recipe for banana bread with elderberries, I made it yesterday and it turned out so good! ❤
I hope you’re having a marvelous fall!
